Dollars your CFO can check.
Hours × your rate × weeks, capped at what the step costs. The working is on screen.
No card needed
The sample CFO report. No email needed.
Nothing counts as banked until the change is adopted or its build ships. Every dollar is hours freed, not cash, and the working is in the report.

The working
The sum, line by line.
Each figure traces back to a step someone described and a rate someone set. The app annualises over 52 weeks and rounds money between $10,000 and $100,000 to the nearest $100, so the exact $17,160 shows as ≈ $17,200. 75 a week is 3,900 invoices a year; leave changes who processes them, not how many arrive.
Found is what a fix looks worth. Banked is what you've actually got. Nothing counts as banked until the change is adopted or its build ships. Banked means hours freed for other work, not cash.
People cost only, at the rates you enter (with or without on-costs): no licences, no GST.
The Waste tag on “Email manager for approval” is on the email, not the approval: managers still approve every bill, just not by email.
Demo: Coastline Trading Co. (fictional company). The whole workflow costs ≈ $48,600 a year.
- The step: “Chase approval by email”75 invoices a week × 8 minutes of emailing and chasing10 h a week
- What the step costs10 h × 52 weeks × $55/h (your rate for the accounts officer)≈ $28,600 a year
- What the Now fix gives back6 of those 10 hours, by approving bills in the accounting system you already use6 h a week
- What the Now fix is worth6 h × 52 × $55 = $17,160, shown to the nearest $100; hours freed, not cash≈ $17,200 a year

The caps that keep it honest.
Nothing counts more than the step costs
A fix can never be worth more than the step it fixes. On the Team plan, all three ways to fix the chase step (6, 8 and 9.5 hours a week) stay under its 10 hours.
Untimed steps claim at most a quarter
Where nobody has recorded how long a step takes, a fix can claim at most a quarter of it. Any time the AI estimates stays marked as an estimate until a person confirms it.
Checks are made cheaper, not cut Protective
“Match to order and docket” stops you paying for goods that never arrived. Entrilla marks it Protective: keep it, make it cheaper.
Who sees dollars.
Only the people you choose set the rates
Hourly rates per role go in on the Rates page. Only the people you choose can enter them, and only they see dollars.
Everyone else sees hours
Viewers, contributors and builders get the same analysis in hours. Their copy of the CFO report has no dollar figure in it; the dollars are taken out before the file is made.
Hourly rates never go to the AI
The AI works in hours. Dollars are worked out inside your own workspace, and only the people you choose see them.
The sample report
Your CFO will ask how. It's in the PDF.
The CFO report is a PDF of one workflow's savings: the figures, every recommendation behind them, and a page of assumptions (the rates used, the caps, what's banked). This sample is the real report, made by the product from our fictional demo company.
